US Securities and Exchange Commission Filings & Forms (EDGAR)
The SEC requires all public companies (except foreign companies and companies with less than $10 million in assets and 500 shareholders) to file registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms electronically through EDGAR. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), is the largest non-governmental regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States. All told, FINRA oversees nearly 5,000 brokerage firms, about 172,000 branch offices and more than 676,000 registered securities representatives.
The Securities Lawyer's Deskbook
The Securities Lawyer's Deskbook contains the full text of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "1933 Act"), the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "1934 Act"), the Investment Company Act of 1940, the rules promulgated under those Acts, and Regulations S-K, S-B, S-X, and S-T.
